WE CREATE EVENTS
It's what we do, but there is something unique to our approach. We believe anyone can build a dance night. The Las Vegas Strip and it's clubs are filled with them. Every night of the week, you can listen to top 40's club mixes, drink and dance. Most of it is cookie cutter, working towards the lowest common denominator. It is a business of drink ratios and filling a room. There is nothing wrong with it, it is just the business of promotions. We created an artistic event group for the nights people crave something different. A patron-centric evening where a theme is not only bolstered by the patrons who pay more money, buy a costume or a themed outfit while the club runs business as usual. We pride ourselves on creating sensual, dark slices of memory where people can become someone new.
THE TRIAD
Slave of the Muse is a partnership between three people with the notion to create an outlet for adults to become not just a patron of nightlife events, but become part of the act, create a new identity and immerse themselves in evenings crafted to be left of ordinary. The ‘Triad’, as they affectionately refer to themselves, have a collective background in event planning, theatrical production and visual arts.
BACKGROUND
Slave of the Muse is a group of artistically minded people that have been doing events and strange theatrical experiences for three years. While their official collaboration of efforts had only begun in 2008, the core crew of Slave has had extensive personal histories of their own prior to forming their ever-growing collective. Each member has had a dedicated past, some of them putting on prior events of a different nature, others have been in all aspects of theater from acting to set design/construction and stage tech. The designers for their collateral are dark, fresh, and professional and have been working in video production and as artists for years. The headlining DJs are experts at setting a mood, have years of audio experience and their performers have been perfecting their skills since childhood.
