What is the Anonymity Ball
It seems that our enigmatic evening has made many of you inquisitive as to what goes on. We at Slave of the Muse Promotions are here to answer all of your questions.
This is a Masquerade
It is encouraged that individuals come in costume and with an alias. It is also highly encouraged that those in attendance fraternize with other attendees (not just those that they have arrived with).People should wear a skin that suits what they feel like on the inside, not the working stiff that has a car payments, credit card debt and an existence entirely mundane. You were that before the ball and will be again after the ball, may as well be someone different while you have the chance.
We hope to recreate the spirit of the old Masquerade balls. Of mystery, lack of abandon, hysteria and sensuality.
What to expect
Expect to recreate yourself, just for a time, just for a night. Know that your alias will be designed to let you be the person you see inside of you. Be prepared to assume new body language and movements when you put on your costume and don your new face.
After bieng carded, you will be handed AirPirate 'currency' and asked what your name is, whether you chose to give your real name or to be another will up to you.
Is a Steampunk / Airpunk Only Event?
Exclusively, this is not only a 'Steampunk’ night. Our themes lends us to a Victorian, 'Vernian' time of Airships and flesh trade. We are hoping to see some wonderful Steampunk - Victorian - Edwardian - Air Pirate Costumes! Pomp and circumstance in debaucherous Elegance … or perhaps something different.
Is this a Fetish Ball?
No, it is a celebration of the sensual and amorous. So, if it is skin you want to show, feel free (Within legal limits, i.e., pasties and undergarments). If there is an act you want to perform for the masked masses, there is a cage and a slave auction for our attendees to exercise their wild fantasies. Be daring, be debaucherous, be inventive…. Who is really going to know it’s you anyway?
Will this be too Pretentious and Stuffy?
No, but it will be very interesting to walk around and look at all of the wonderfully decadent outfits. Some royal in nature, some not much more than a loin cloth.
Is this a Rave?
No, be assured is a dance evening - there will be beat heavy music in the ballroom. If someone shows up with light sticks and a pacifier we will not kick them out.
In Closing
There will hosts passing out baubles and setting willing people on games to meet other people they would never meet any other way. You will find seasoned partners and fresh lovers teasing one another. You will notice people staring at you and you will notice that you cannot help but to stare at other amazing personifications.
Expect to dance, expect to be able to talk with new people and hear them. Expect this night to be whatever you make it. Just make it memorable
