Slave of the Muse's personal night was called Cloister (based from the ambient mummer audio from Masque Dei Mortis). It was an experiment in all things nightlife. There was no general genre, no dress code and it fostered the idea of a playground where everyone could meet someone new.

Vast styles were incorportated into each night. Dr. Steel, Hybrid, Morgan Page, Danzig, Imogene Heap, Benny Benassi, Flobots and Depeche Mode could be played in the same set and often were. The DJ's were asked to find the music that stirs their inspired minds and not worry about top 40. For it, any type of dance happened on that floor from light stick and electric poi twirling to bellydancing and on a few occasions many of the patrons laying on the floor listening to an introspective work spun by DAQ or Spidersilk.
Cloister was home of Shenanicore, which basically meant that after 2:30 anything went. Our DJ's played Rock Horror Songs, The Devil Went Down to Georgia, Muppet Songs and Invader Zim samples. We could all laugh at ourselves, silly, cutting loose and join any vibe that made people feel together and happy.
The patrons reflected that same mood. Although never earning the same amount of numbers as Factory, it had bleed over from numerous genres. Everything to people dressed in shorts and sandals to Renaissance garb, vampires, ravers, and average people. It was eclectic and everyone got along. People could be themselves and they appreciated that fact.
Cloister patrons were often asked to join in nerf wars, painting evenings, themed nights and our most successful aspect, spectator chess - 20 people crowded around a massive chess board as if it was thier favorite football game.
The final Cloister was March 5th, 2010 - it was also the last night the Muse was open for business. After the DJ's had finished their lasts sets. Charlie the Cheese (our favorite comedian patron) did stand up and Scud serenaded the group with a few amazing songs. None of the patrons would leave until after 6am, they did not want to see the last night of Cloister come to a close. The last audio to ever play in The Muse for patrons was the sound of Masque's Cloister as the patrons sat on the stage in the dark.
