PROMOTERS: Scud / Amanda Lane
When the idea of the Muse was brought to us and we decided we could make it a nightlife area, naturally Scud and Amanda (our event crew members) came to mind. They had a successful G/I (Goth Industrial) night a few years prior and it seemed a great fit to ask them to resurrect the night.

Factory was the Friday night staple of The Muse. A great night with lots of guest DJ's, innovative themes and the longest running male gogo of any scene we knew of - Ron, a one man titan of stomping power.
Although a G/I night, it was not exclusive simply to that genre, adapting, modifying and adding flavors here and there of what patrons liked. More than just the G/I scene came to the night, it diversified into what was the ongoing feeling of The Muse - no matter who you were, this was your home. No apologies, no regrets.
Every Friday night at 1:30am, Scud would do the evening announcments. A small break in the oontz, oontz but a time of acknowledging the community. At the end of the annnouncments Scud would declare "What time is it?'" and the entire area would yell it's resounding response, "CLUB SONG!" The floor would pack and the mass of bodies moved as one to the anthem of Factory.
Many hope Factory will return one day - we hope it does as well.

Below is a slideshow set to Factory's 'club song'. It is only a small view into what that weekly night was.
